OCR — Observations, Creations, and Reflections

OCR is an independent archive of the writings of Lanfranco Aceti and Dolores de Alma Blanca: non-fiction, fiction, and poetry. Established in 2012 as a research centre in collaboration with Goldsmiths, University of London, and Sabancı University, it is now the place where these texts are published first, in full and free to read. Each work is also being issued as a Kindle and print edition by Passero, with a DOI for the permanent record.

It is documented at lanfrancoaceti.com; his curatorial practice is hosted at the Museum of Contemporary Cuts.

Dolores de Alma Blanca

Dolores de Alma Blanca is a poet. Her first collection, The Poems of the Poet Laureate, written in the streets of London in 1998 and refined at the turn of the millennium, is a satire of power and of those who serve it: a laureate who, having sung of “the human animals, the bloody commoners,” now offers her “velvety tongue” to the court in exchange for absolution. Passero published it in 2021.

Three further collections followed in 2026: Norwegian Salmon & Mayonnaise and The Psychopompos & Other Poems in January, and Where Time Folds in February. No Grime on My Soul and A Bird in My Mouth are forthcoming. Her work appears in Lanfranco Aceti’s translation.
